January 2022 Staff Updates

January 28, 2022

At APRI we are incredibly honored to have such kind and compassionate staff, dedicated to the health and well-being of those we serve. 2022 brings renewed strength in our mission and also some new faces to our team. We wanted to take a moment to introduce them and share why they choose to work at APRI.

Courtney Wood, Clinical Supervisor

“I work for APRI because my passion is to help those in need.  I hope to support our case managers as they work to provide the highest quality services to our clients.  I look forward to providing direct care to clients and providing them with a safe and supportive place to begin their journey towards healing.”

Sadie Torres, Housing Specialist

“Safe and affordable housing directly improves the lives of people living with HIV. I provide clients with a person-centered, trauma-informed approach to help them achieve their housing goals, which is the most rewarding part of my job.”

Anthony Torres, Case Manager

“I work for APRI because I truly enjoy serving this population and helping them achieve their goals. My favorite part of being a case manager is helping clients maintain their viral suppression because it reduces their internalized stigma and empowers them.”
