Please join us for a community-wide World AIDS Day event on Friday, Nov. 30, at 12 p.m. at the Met in Pawtucket (adjacent to the Hope Artiste Village). The address is 1005 Main Street. This free event will feature speakers from the community and local organizations, refreshments catered by Amos House, resource tables, free HIV testing, and more.
The Rhode Island HIV/STI Coalition–which is made up of representatives from many agencies and organizations throughout the state–plans and coordinates the annual World AIDS Day event. The aim is to bring the event back to the community at large and make it a welcoming environment to learn, share, and commemorate those we have lost.
2018 also marks the 30th anniversary of World AIDS Day–an important milestone in the continuing fight against HIV and decreasing stigma and discrimination.
We look forward to seeing you there!
