Be a Superhero on April 21 at the Run/Walk for Life!

Grab your cape and your running or walking shoes and join us at the Roger Williams Park Carousel on Saturday, April for the AIDS Run/Walk for Life. We’re putting together a team of superheros to defeat HIV/AIDS and hope you’ll join us. Sign up now at!

We’ve got fun prizes lined up for best costumes, top fundraisers, and fastest runners, and will be honoring the Cardi brothers for their 30 years of support of both APRI and this event–our biggest fundraiser of the year.

Day-of-Event Details:

Saturday, April 21, 2018
Roger Williams Park Carousel Village
8 a.m.: Registration opens
9 a.m.: Speaking program + Award presentation to the Cardi brothers
The 5K run will start immediately after the speaking program, with the walk following—approximately 9:45 a.m.
2-6 p.m.: After-party at Free Play Bar Arcade (182 Pine St., Providence), hosted by Kira Stone! $8 admission benefits both APRI and AIDS Care Ocean State. Admission free for runners and walkers who raise $250 or more.

Superhero team carpooling is encouraged to the Run/Walk, but parking will also be available in the park. Community partners will be on hand to offer resources to attendees and we will be providing free rapid HIV testing, as well.
