Thank you I Heart Radio for the recent interview about Dining Out for Life, Thursday, April 30, 2015! That’s when many restaurants in the Rhode Island area will be donating a portion of the day’s sales to AIDS Project Rhode Island. That’s the day, also, that we work to fill up those restaurants with customers. So it’s a win for the restaurant and the win for the fight against AIDS.
As we post this, we are in the restaurant recruiting mode, and that’s the focus of the interview below, along with HIV testing and other related topics.
This interview was aired on Sunday, March 7, between 7 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. on radio stations B101, Coast 93.3 and 94HJY. Kristin Lessard, who is one of the hosts of the B101 morning show, interviews AIDS Project Rhode Island development director Julie Casimiro and prevention and testing coordinator Christion Battey. Please ask your favorite restaurant to participate! Ask them to contact Julie at 401-519-2289 or firstname.lastname@example.org. We will be signing up restaurants up to April 30th, but the sooner the better so we can start publicizing!
