Restaurants across the state will be participating in the annual “Dining Out for Life” benefitting AIDS Project RI on Thursday, April 26.
“We’re asking our friends to support these restaurants on Thursday, April 26, and throughout the year,” said Thomas Bertrand, executive director of AIDS Project RI, a division of non-profit Family Service of RI.
AIDS Project RI is looking to the state’s hospitality industry for help in the fight against HIV/AIDS.
Across the nation AIDS organizations will be benefiting from restaurants donating a portion of their proceeds on Thursday, April 26 as they participate in what’s called Dining Out for Life ®.

Gift certificates are needed for Stop & Shop, Shaw’s or other grocery stores; pharmacies; “Best Buy” and similar stores; Walmart, Target and similar stores.
