Put yourself to the test and join us for our 25th Annual AIDS Walk Rhode Island on September 26th, 2010. This walk will begin and end at the Rhode Island Statehouse and will take you through Downtown Providence and across Providence's scenic Eastside. It is anticipated that thousands of walkers will join the fight against AIDS/HIV and proceeds will benefit AIDS Project RI, a Division of Family Service of Rhode Island. This year holds particular significance, not just because it is the Silver Anniversary, but because we will be launching a statewide initiative to confidentially test 10,000 Rhode Islanders for HIV/AIDS. We will offer free and confidential HIV testing on site at the event.
How can I participate?
Register to walk or if you like form a team. Walking is even more fun when you get your family, friends, and colleagues involved. Become a sponsor! Sponsorship opportunities are available. Volunteer. We need many volunteers to make the day a success. Spread the word. With your help we can make this the largest and most successful walk in our 25 year history.
